So Impressed with Response
My neighbor and myself were experiencing flickering/strobing of our indoor lights. First Energy arrived within an hour to repair the problem in their wiring from our street. Sadly the flickering continued after they left. However they came out again, immediately after my second call in the dark. Then, they returned at 1AM in the morning to work on our problem so that we could be without our electricity while we slept and not while we were awake and needing our lights.
I awoke this morning to the problem finally resolved and no more annoying flickering and strobe effects. Thank you FE crews for such a fine and considerate job well done! We Sincerely Appreciate You! |

They will cut of your autopay without letting you know and make you liable for their mess up.
I moved to a new place and set up autopay to avoid not paying but instead they decided to shut off my autopay without informing me after the took money out automatically the first month of us being there. |

Moving a meter to original area
First of all you have me on hold for 3 hours then transferred me to the right people and that was another 2.5 hours and just to move a meter you said you would make me pay for your installment what a joke. You screw your customers just so you can keep making billions. Sad company you have |

Unprofessional
I had called in 3 different times and was on hold for 45+ minutes each time when I was told it would be a brief hold. I even tried the call back option
and was disconnected soon as I answered, and disconnected the other 3 times without a call back. Once I was finally able to get through after 3 hours of attempting to get service, the operator was rude and was unable to answer my questions with any clarity. Im simply just trying to activate my service in my new home. |

Payment
I think its atrocious that Ive paid my bills from my checking account with no fees up until now 2025. You decided to use another vendor and now Im getting charged a quarter to make a payment because youre forcing me to auto pay. Terrible company and I wish you would just go away |

Forever to restore our service
June 14, very mild storm. Only house on our road without power. Took 8 hours to get the lazy workers to show up. |

Bypassable Generation and transmission rate
This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in my life. Hold times are always over an hour, good luck getting an explanation on anything. Its all double speak. My favorite part is that I'm being charged MORE for choosing them as my electric supplier. Someone please explain to me why I am getting charged a recovery fee for money/damage I didn't cause and was not related to my service or property? I cannot even get someone to explain what would be on my bill if I switch to one of these CRES they keep trying to push me off on. When you sign up for one of the CRES you get a bill from the CRES AND FirstEnergy. This whole system seems like a scam! |
