double dip charging
“ I was told I wouldn't be charged by both cmp and town square yet the rate you charged me at was twice as high cmp and they were charging too. So I was paying double sometimes triple for electric to one resident. You are a SCAM. Then called to unenroll and you kept on my bill and then I sat for hold for over an hour. So do I get paid for sitting on hold. I mean time is money. ”

Promised a rate - than ignored it
“ They made seller messages on my bill saying a had a certain rate (same as I was paying) locked for 11 months. 3 months later, they increase the rate 41% I called 4 times, they promised to look into it, promised to call back and completely ignored me. Scam company and not to be trusted. ”

RIP OFF
“ My 92 year old mother bought into buying power from these people and I added up the extra money she paid over the last 18 months and it is around $2400! Their kWh rate has been at 2 or three times the cost of buying it from her local electric company. We have cancelled and they are giving her back $192 on the list bill, but we are still not happy! They preyed on my old mother. ”

What a scam
“ We were approached in Sams Club and the lady basically forced us to sign up. She pulled my phone out of my hand and had me tell her the numbers to put in to dial the number so that we could call customer service to our energy provider. We didnt even give her permission yet that we wanted to switch and she immediately called them after speaking with them. She assured us that we were going to save a whole bunch of money and we were going to get a gift card from Sams Club. None of these were true. We got to the checkout and our gift card never arrived. Checking the comments I see that is a common theme. We got our first bill and it was double what we normally pay. Our bill usually runs about $250. Our first bill ran over $500. The next bill was nearly $600 and every bill since then has been right around five and $600 consistently when it used to run right around $250 There has been absolutely no savings. When we went to cancel the person on the phone was pushy and insisted on keeping us from canceling. She even offered us a discount. Then when my husband remained firm with her and said to cancel she said that it was going to take at least three to four billing cycles to process the change. It didnt take that long to put them on our bill. If you see one of these people in Sams Club run the other way do not talk to these people. They are scammers. I dont know what can be done legally, but they are breaking the law they have to be. It is shameful what they are doing to some of these people that cant afford a huge bill like that not that we can. ”

They do not honor their contracts
“ I had a 36 month fixed contract that they cancelled after 7 months. They offered a rate that was over 40% higher per CCF. This was a FIXED natural gas contract yet the excuse was market rates. ”
